Western Science
Solar flares are eruptions from sunspots from the sun’s surface that emit intense bursts of electromagnetic radiation. Western Science refers to this as a solar temper tantrum. The definition of a temper tantrum ranges from whining and crying to screaming, kicking, hitting, and breath-holding spells often common in children. Viewing the lights as majestic and an opportunity that only appears so often. Warnings of electricity, electronics, and satellites being knocked out by solar flares power impact businesses, schools, homes, etc.
Indigenous Knowledge
The sun is male, and the moon is female. They are both considered holy and highly respected as powerful deities. Indigenous tribes would not dare to even speak of the powerful deities in such disrespect, calling it “temper tantrums.” We see through the holistic and spiritual approach of warning signs for the sun to emit such intense energy and display unusual colors in the sky. Indigenous people see this as a warning of something ahead in the future. We are grateful for these messages, and we always offer corn pollen at noon to the sun to help the sun finish its journey respectfully.
We need to respect the SUN, MOON, and the Earth!
